Nesse dia apercebi-me que me doia o peito e comecei a achar que as maminhas estavam maiores.

Semana 4

You are now 4 weeks pregnant (14 days after conception), which is the beginning of week 5. This is when the woman's next period would have been due (and is now late!) The blastocyst is now called an 'embryo', and your baby inside measures about 1.5 mm (or 0.06 inches). On day 18 after conception, your baby's spinal cord and brain (called the 'neural tube') begin to form. The top layer of cells (or the 'ectoderm') forms the back of the embryo. It is a flat sheet of cells that folds in the middle and curls around to start forming a tube (which will house your baby's spinal cord). The top end of the tube balloons out and enlarges to form the beginnings of your baby's brain (although it is quite primitive at this point). By the end of this week (day 21 after conception), the 2 sides of the 'sheet' meet and fuse to complete the neural tube.

At the same time, the endoderm (or bottom layer of cells) balloons out the front of your baby at chest level, to form a yolk sac and a body stalk protrudes from your baby's waistline. The body stalk is the beginning of your baby's umbilical cord that will nourish them once the placenta is fully developed. In the meantime, the yolk sac provides some nourishment and is eventually reabsorbed into your baby's body to form their bowel, liver, lungs and bladder. The yolk sac is also where the baby will start producing their own blood supply.

The earliest time possible to detect a pregnancy with ultrasound images is about 5 ½ weeks. A tiny sac can be seen, but the baby and their heart beat are not able to be detected yet. Sometimes a pregnancy of this stage is missed by an ultrasound, because the sac is so tiny.

By 14 days after fertilisation (or when the women's period would have been due) the blastocyst becomes an 'embryo', implanted firmly into their mother's uterine lining. The embryo has all the vital building blocks in place to create an individual human being, and you don't even know you are pregnant yet!

I ended up not being able to resist it and did a test this morning. At first i dipped the test just a little bit (probably just one second) and after the 5 minutes result time even the control line was a bit faint.
I ended up dipping the stick again till the control line was well visible and dark (probably 3 to 4 seconds - the control line appeared in under a minute). It was a negative test.
However, after waking up a few hours later I looked at the test again and there was a very faint positive line.
Even though we should disregard any lines that appear after the results period, that faint line gave me a bit of hope. It was the first time a faint line appeared, none of the tests I did before ever had a line appear even way after the results time limit.
Maybe my AF won't show up tomorrow :)

Estou a molhar o pauzinho pouco tempo?

1. To begin testing, open the sealed pouch by tearing along the notch. Remove the test from the pouch. Note: First morning urine usually contains the highest concentration of hCG and is therefore the best sample when performing the urine test. However, randomly collected urine specimens may be used. (okkk, até aqui nunca houve dúvidas!)

2. Holding the strip vertically, carefully dip it into the specimen (you may collect your urine in a clean, dry container). Immerse the strip into the urine sample with the arrow end pointing towards the urine. Do not immerse past the MAX Line (Marker Line). Take the strip out after 3 to 4 seconds and lay the strip flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface. (ahaaaaaaaaa finalmente o tempo certo!)

3. Wait for colored bands to appear. Depending on the concentration of hCG in the test specimen, positive results may be observed in as little as 60 seconds. However, to confirm negative results, the complete reaction time of 5 minutes is required. Interpret the test results at 5 minutes. Do not read results after 5 minutes.
